Cape Town City THUMP Baroka 5-1 to leapfrog Orlando Pirates!

Cape Town City came from behind to THUMP Baroka 5-1 in a league match which was played at Cape Town City on Sunday night.

Mduduzi Mdantsane netted twice while Khanyisa Mayo, Craig Martin and Tashreeq Morris also found the back of the net for City.

This was after Dan Ndlovu had opened the scoring 10 minutes before the break – Baroka had already missed an early penalty.

As a result, City moved up to fourth on the log with 36 points from 21 games, and thus, moving above Orlando Pirates who are fifth on 35 points.

Baroka, on the other hand, are rooted at the bottom of DStv Premiership log with 17 points from 23 games played.
