Bruce Willis: Actor fed lines through earpiece, ‘misfired gun’ on set [photos]

Following the announcement of American actor Bruce Willis’ retirement from acting, crew workers who have recently worked with him have spoken out about how his health has effected his performance.

The renowned action hero actor was diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects a person’s language abilities and can lead to significant difficulties with reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Those who are impacted may utilize words in the incorrect sequence.

New photographs of the 67-year-old actress sporting an earpiece have surfaced. The photographs were captured while filming American Siege, which was released earlier this year, according to Metro.

WILLIS MISFIRED PROP GUN PREMATURELY

Actress and reality star Lala Kent also shared an incident with the LA Times, discussing the period during which she worked with Bruce Willis on the 2020 film Hard Kill. The actress alleges the Die Hard actor fired a prop gun prematurely on the wrong cue on two occasions.

“Because my back was to him, I wasn’t aware of what was happening behind me. But the first time, it was like, ‘No big deal, let’s reset’.”

But according to Entertainment Weekly, Randall Emmett, Kent’s ex and a producer on the film, denied the incident took place. The film’s weapons master also reportedly denied it.

FILM DIRECTOR JESSE V JOHNSON WEIGHS IN

Film director Jesse V Johnson, who has worked with Bruce Willis decades before as a stuntman, said that he also noticed some changes in the actor.

He said: “It was clear that he was not the Bruce I remembered”.

Johnson more recently worked with Willis as the director on White Elephant, which has not been released yet.

“We are all Bruce Willis fans, and the arrangement felt wrong and ultimately a rather sad end to an incredible career, one that none of us felt comfortable with.”
