Edo begins one-week entrepreneurship, financial literacy training for MSMEs

The Edo State Government is organizing a week-long entrepreneurship and financial literacy workshop for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the state.

The training is being organized by the Edo State Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives in partnership with German development agency, The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

According to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives, Yuwa Naps, the one-week workshop is scheduled to begin on April 4, 2022, in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

The Permanent Secretary noted, “Edo State Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives in partnership with GIZ invites MSMEs in Edo State to participate in a Basic Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy Workshop.

“Participants will be equipped to manage their businesses and their finances better and will be directly linked to credit facilities. This opportunity is brought to you free of charge.
