Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) unveiled the 2022 Soccer World Cup ball on Wednesday, boasting that it will move faster in the air than any other ball in the competition’s history. The finals will be held in the cities of Qatar.

Al Rihla is the name of the Adidas ball, which means “journey” in Arabic language. Its design is “influenced by the culture, architecture, distinctive boats, and flag of the country hosting the competition, called Qatar,” according to Fédération Internationale de Football Association.
More accurate Soccer World Cup ball ever
The ball’s creators said it would be “the fastest and most accurate Fédération Internationale de Football Association World Cup ball ever.”
“As the game gets faster, accuracy and flight stability become increasingly vital,” said Franziska Loeffelmann, Adidas’ Design Director of Football Graphics and Hardwear.
“The new design allows the ball to travel through the air at a substantially faster pace,” she noted.

Over the following two weeks, the ball will visit ten cities throughout the world, including Dubai, Tokyo, Mexico City, and New York.
On Friday, April 1, the 2022 Fédération Internationale de Football Association World Cup draw will take place in Doha Qatar.
The event has been changed from its traditional date of November 21 to December 18 to escape the summer heat in the Gulf state.
