2023 Election: ‘APC Convention success, sign of victory’ – Nasarawa State Speaker Says

Balarabe Abdullahi, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC) convention, which ushered in Sen. Abdullahi Adamu as National Chairman and other members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) through consensus, is a sign of the party’s victory in the upcoming 2023 election and beyond.

This was declared by the Speaker during a press conference in Lafia. He went on to say that Sen. Adamu’s and other NWC members’ emergence demonstrates the party’s peace and togetherness among stakeholders and members.

Sen. Abdullahi Adamu and his team were congratulated by Balarabe Abdullahi on their victory at the national convention, and he wished them a fruitful tenure.

The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen expressed confidence in Sen. Abdullahi Adamu’s competence to carry out his mandate, citing his extensive expertise in both politics and administration, and urged him to use it.

“On behalf of myself, my principal officers, and members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, I congratulate and rejoice with Sen. Abdullahi Adamu on his election as National Chairman and other NWC members of our great party, the APC.”

He emphasized the significance of the APC’s victories for the party. ” Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, the APC Chairman, and other officials were elected by consensus, demonstrating that the party is one huge family that resolves its internal conflicts.

“The election of His Excellency, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, former Governor of Nasarawa State, and other members of the party’s National Working Committee was a sign of success for our great party in 2023 and beyond.”

He went on to explain why Sen. Adamu is the best candidate for the job. “Sen. Adamu and his team have the capacity and ability to lead our great party, the APC, to greater heights in the country,” he stated.

For the party’s triumph in 2023, Abdullahi recommended the NWC to work together and unite APC members.

He pledged their support and partnership to the APC National Chairman.

He also praised President Muhammadu Buhari for bringing the party’s members together and propelling it to greater heights in the country.

The Speaker also praised President Buhari and Governor Abdullahi Sule for their accomplishments in development, and urged the people of the state and Nigerians to back President Buhari and Gov. Sule’s administrations.

The Speaker reaffirmed his commitment to working with the executive branch to ensure the state’s and country’s rapid development.
