Every die-hard Kaizer Chiefs and Khune fan knows the former Bafana Bafana star is still a top goalkeeper but the reality is that he is not getting any younger, even for a keeper.

Additionally, the talent in Brendon Petersen and Bruce Bvuma truly make it hard for Khune to make the gloves his own. Sport often proves that it belongs to the young.

Meanwhile, a Kaizer Chiefs and Khune fan went on social media to ask the club to simply make Khune the next goalkeeper coach after Lee Baxter.

Khune, now aged 34, was quick to respond…

“I’m still young to be a GK Coach Bro, I have a lot to offer in this game,” Khune said on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Amakhosi will be back in action after the international break, with a trip to the Eastern Cape to battle Chippa United on Saturday 2 April.

The PSL are expected to finally allow fans back to the stadiums. Check the matches Kaizer Chiefs fans can target in April.

Like every fan in every corner of South Africa, Kaizer Chiefs followers are eager to live their passion of going to stadiums after a two-year hiatus.

It’s honestly hard to believe. It has been a long two years of pain for those who love to sit inside a stadium to watch Premier Soccer League football.

However, following the government’s greenlight over a week ago, the suffering may finally come to an end.
