Big businesses pledge billions at 4th South African Investment Conference

The South African Investment Conference (SAIC) kicked off in Sandton, north of Johannesburg, on Thursday morning,  with a number of business entities making project announcements totaling over R200 billion.

From a document released by SAIC, 49 entities are said to be involved in South African-related projects ranging from R20 Million to R42 Billion in value.

The African Development Bank Group is cited as having investments or projects to the value of R42 Billion in total.
