There are still a good few months left in the season but it always pays to be prepared and so there are fresh PSL transfer rumours and of course Kaizer Chiefs feature.

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly renewed their interest in playmaker Yusuf Maart.

The Sekhukhune United star has enjoyed prominence thanks to standout performances for Bafana Bafana.

Kaizer Chiefs could undoubtedly use Maart’s creativity in behind their frontline.

Soccer Laduma claim: “Kaizer Chiefs are set to step up their pursuit of Sekhukhune United captain Yusuf Maart at the end of the season,” claim in their latest weekly issue.

According to Goal.com Leonardo Castro’s future with the club is uncertain.

Injuries have dogged Castro in the last two years and the arrival of Samir Nurkovic also limited his opportunities.

Castro’s contract expires in June.

It also appears likely that he could be released at the end of the season.

Motsepe league prospect

Summerfield dynamos attacking midfielder Mncedisi Vandala is attracting attention from clubs in the PSL and NFD.

Vandala is a bright prospect in KZN football and is reportedly on the radar of Amazulu and Royal AM.

The player’s mentor Sizwe Ntshangase has refused to comment on the speculation.

He also feels Vandala is best focusing on doing well for the Clinton Larsen-coached side.

“I can’t comment on that, my brother. Let’s allow the boy to focus on his current season,” Ntshangase told Soccer Laduma.
