AMVCA Releases Nominees For 2022 Film Awards Ceremony

The nominees for the eighth Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) are out and a variety of nominees across 33 categories have been shortlisted.

Izu Ojukwu’s historical drama ‘Amina’ was one of the most nominated films with 12 nominations in major categories including the ‘Best Overall Movie’.

Funke Akindele, and JJC Skillz’ ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’ also made the top nominated list with nine nominations.
Ramsey Nouah’s ‘Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story’ also got 10 nominations in various categories.
The Award ceremony is slated for May 14, 2022.
