Upington Post Office burglary, suspect arrested

The Area Manager of Upington Post Office, Mr Peter Saunderson expressed his gratitude and commended the Management of Upington SAPS for the professional and swift response of Constables Eugene Dlephu and Marchellous Beukes attached to the Upington Crime Office.

Their swift response which ensured the arrest of the suspect.

The incident was reported on Tuesday, 8 March 2022, where a computer monitor was reported stolen.

The members of Crime Office followed up immediately and managed to trace the suspect with the stolen goods.

The stolen item was handed back to the Manager and the suspect was arrested and charged for Housebreaking and Theft.
