Kaizer Chiefs star Bernard Parker was captured feeling overwhelmed by emotions during an interview.

As The South African reported on Saturday, Amakhosi claimed the Soweto derby bragging rights with a 2-1 win, thanks to Reeve Frosler and Eric Mathoho’s goals.

Frosler and Mathoho may have enjoyed the scoring glory, but Bernard Parker had a blinder of a performance.

COACH STUART BAXTER RAISES CONCERN

As we all witnessed in the Soweto derby last weekend, Khama Billiat was pulled off in the first half following a hamstring injury.

Kaizer Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro, who late came on a substitute, was soon substituted after suffering a similar injury to Billiat.

Baxter has now confirmed that the duo could miss a week’s worth of training sessions.

“Both of those injuries are very disappointing because when you work at an elite club, your biggest enemy is soft tissue injuries,” Baxter said via Soccer Laduma.

“The reason they are the biggest enemies is because they are more or less being put out of business now because of our training methods.

“But we’ve two players who both get hamstring strains, which means there is something not right with our loading.
