BREAKING: Russia deliberately fires rockets at nuclear reactor

Ukraine has announced that Russia had deliberately fired rockets at a facility which includes a nuclear reactor.

Vladimir Putin’s army are said to have fired unguided rockets at the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology.

The institute is home to a facility called Neutron Source which contains a nuclear reactor used for research.

It comes as Vladimir Putin claims the war is going to plan and won’t end until Ukraine gives in.

Meanwhile a temporary ceasefire at the encircled Mariupol collapsed with a failure to set-up a humanitarian corridor.

The UN estimates 1.5m people – roughly 3.5% of the Ukraine population – have left the country since war broke out.

Shocking photos from near Irpin showed terrified civilians dodging Russian rocket attacks as they tried to flee.

And Ukraine has claimed that 34 hospitals have been shelled by Russian forces.

The World Health Organisation has confirmed “several” attacks on health care centres in Ukraine and is investigating others, the agency’s chief said on Sunday.
