After allegedly recovering from coronavirus, Queen Elizabeth II has sent her first telegram.

On Tuesday, March 1, the Queen’s first message was issued on Buckingham Palace’s official Twitter and Instagram accounts to commemorate St. David’s Day.

“Wishing all our followers celebrating in Wales and around the world a joyful #StDavidsDay,” Queen Elizabeth writes in her post.

#DyddGwylDewi was used as a hashtag.

The monarch, 95, was diagnosed with Covid-19 on February 20 but has made a remarkable recovery.

She also held two virtual audiences with foreign ambassadors at her Windsor Castle home today, March 1.
