Hollywood has been rocked by news that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after 19 years of marriage.
The Oscar-winning actress, 58, and the country music star, 57, have reportedly been living apart for some time due to their jam-packed schedules, leaving friends and family stunned.
A source told the Daily Mail that Kidman was “blindsided” by the split, adding that the couple’s busy lives made maintaining their relationship increasingly difficult.

“Keith hardly sees Nicole,” the insider explained. “Either she is filming or he is on tour.
There was a lot of love between them, but right now, they live in worlds that don’t overlap. The intimacy isn’t there—they are just going through the motions.”
The source suggested that while a divorce isn’t necessarily on the table, the separation is a wake-up call.
“If this separation brings them back together, that would be amazing, but Keith had to be honest about his feelings,” the insider added.
Family Life and Shared Children
Nicole and Keith share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Despite their split, the couple reportedly remains committed to co-parenting and maintaining a stable environment for their teens.
Kidman’s past relationship with Tom Cruise, which lasted from 1990 to 2001, also included two adopted children, further adding to her blended family responsibilities.

Recently, Kidman has been living in a luxurious Hampstead mansion in London, once owned by pop star Boy George, while filming the Practical Magic sequel.
Reports indicate the actress spends nearly $87,300 a month on the residence, and Urban has not been staying with her.
An insider told Woman’s Day that Kidman has grown comfortable in the home now that filming has wrapped.
“They do make an effort to speak every day when they’re apart,” the source said, noting that her mother’s death last September has only highlighted how much time the couple has spent apart.
