Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has stirred fresh controversy after posting an unsettling message online, declaring that she is “not suicidal” while demanding the government release Jeffrey Epstein’s files.
Her remarks added fuel to an already heated debate over transparency, political loyalty, and the rights of victims tied to the disgraced financier’s crimes.
Breaking Away from Trump’s Shadow
Once among Donald Trump’s most vocal allies, Greene is now drawing a clear line over the Epstein issue.
The former president has dismissed the files as “totally irrelevant,” and his allies in Congress have worked to block their release.
The White House even warned Republicans that backing the petition to unseal the documents would be seen as a “hostile act” against Trump.
But Greene insists this fight is not about politics—it’s about justice for women and girls who were abused.
A Bold Warning on Social Media
On Saturday, Greene took to X with two striking posts.
In the first, she repeated her demand that the “Epstein rape and pedophile network must be exposed.”
Minutes later, she followed with a chilling caution: if she were ever found dead—similar to how Epstein died in jail—an investigation should immediately begin into powerful elites or foreign governments that might want to silence her.
“I am not suicidal and one of the happiest and healthiest people you will meet,” she wrote, making it clear that any sudden tragedy should be treated with suspicion.
Standing With Victims
Greene has placed herself firmly on the side of Epstein’s victims, insisting that her motivation is not political rivalry but a commitment to those who were harmed.
“I stand with girls and women who are sexually abused and raped. Period. Every time. At all times,” she declared.
At a press conference earlier this month, she joined victims in calling out Trump’s Department of Justice for failing to fully disclose what it knows.
Taking Aim at Democrats
Greene didn’t spare Democrats in her tirade either, accusing them of neglecting Epstein’s victims when they held power.
She argued that they had the chance to expose everything but chose not to act.
“They could have exposed the entire thing while they had power but never lifted a finger to do so,” she wrote, while also insisting that if anyone is falsely implicated, they deserve the chance to clear their name.
The Trump Factor
Despite her strong stance, Greene still insists that Trump did nothing wrong.
She claims both the women and their attorney have confirmed he helped rather than harmed them.
Even FBI Director Kash Patel recently testified that there is no evidence Epstein trafficked minors to anyone but himself.
Still, the controversy remains unresolved, with Senator John Kennedy reminding officials in a hearing, “This issue is not going to go away.”
Frustration Over Political Games
Greene also stressed that the Epstein files debate should not be reduced to a partisan battle.
She says the real focus should be on helping Americans who are struggling with housing, health care, and the cost of living.
According to her, the scandal has become a distraction fueled by political fights instead of a genuine effort to seek justice.
A Push for Transparency
The Justice Department recently handed over more than 33,000 pages of Epstein-related documents to the House Oversight Committee, but pressure for a full public release continues to mount.
Greene insists her name will stay on the discharge petition and promises to dig into the investigation as part of the committee.
Trump’s Dismissal and Growing Tensions
While Greene presses forward, Trump has brushed the matter aside, calling the scandal “a Democrat hoax that never ends.”
He reportedly complained in private that he doesn’t understand the obsession with Epstein.
But his dismissive stance has left Greene on a rare collision course with her political ally, highlighting an unusual fracture inside the MAGA movement.
What Comes Next?
As demands for transparency build, both victims and lawmakers are refusing to let the matter fade.
Greene continues to pressure for the release of the files, even suggesting she asked Trump to meet Epstein’s victims in the Oval Office—a request she says he ignored.
Instead, the president has leaned on MAGA influencers to calm the backlash, but the effort has largely fallen flat.
For Greene, the fight is far from over.
“The Epstein network must be exposed,” she repeated, vowing to keep her focus on truth, accountability, and the voices of the women who were silenced for far too long.
