Before the main event even began, a bizarre pre-fight spectacle had social media talking — and it involved none other than Mike Tyson and YouTube megastar MrBeast.
Promoter Turki Al-Sheikh had enlisted the duo to drum up hype for the Crawford-Canelo bout, but the plan went off the rails in spectacular fashion.
MrBeast Faces Tyson in a Pre-Fight Stunt
‘Tyson is about to punch me, because thanks to Riyadh Season, Canelo-Crawford is about to happen,’ MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, said with Tyson and Al-Sheikh by his side.
‘It literally starts in an hour. So, after this, you need to go watch it.’
The stunt was meant to draw attention to Riyadh Season, Saudi Arabia’s annual cultural and sports festival designed to boost social, economic, and cultural initiatives under Vision 2030.
Celebrity appearances are a key part of these events, and Al-Sheikh was clearly hoping Tyson and MrBeast would steer fans toward his broadcast partners — in this case, Netflix.
A Body Shot That Stole the Show

But the moment he finished talking, Tyson — gloves on and grinning — delivered a sharp body shot that sent MrBeast sprawling to the floor.
Tyson’s laughter echoed as MrBeast struggled to catch his breath, temporarily covering his face.
Al-Sheikh quickly checked on the YouTube star while Tyson helped him to his feet, still chuckling at the outcome.
MrBeast seemed shaken but unharmed — thankfully, given that he manages Crohn’s Disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel condition.
Crohn’s Disease Adds a Health Concern
While MrBeast appeared fine after the hit, medical experts caution that even minor trauma can be risky for people with Crohn’s Disease.
A 2023 study in the National Library of Medicine highlighted the challenges of diagnosing intestinal injuries in such patients.
It recommended follow-up imaging and careful monitoring, even when symptoms aren’t immediately apparent.
MrBeast Doesn’t Miss a Beat
Despite the body shot, MrBeast didn’t let it ruin his night.
He was later spotted at the event sitting alongside Al-Sheikh, actors Jason Statham and Mark Wahlberg, and UFC president Dana White, enjoying the fight card in style.
