If you’ve been waiting for a perfect day to enjoy the outdoors in Gauteng, 15 September might just be it.
The skies are expected to be bright and sunny, with mild temperatures giving the province a comfortable start to the week.
Warm Conditions in Major Cities
Forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela shared that Johannesburg will see a high of around 25°C, while Pretoria is set to be slightly warmer at 27°C.
Both cities can expect fine, calm weather without any strong winds, making it an ideal day to take a walk, enjoy a picnic, or simply step outside for some sunshine.
Light Showers Possible in the East
While most of Gauteng will remain dry, there’s a small chance of brief, scattered showers in the eastern parts of the province later in the evening.
Thobela reassured residents that the rainfall won’t be widespread or severe but encouraged communities in the Far East to stay mindful of the possibility.
Cold Front in the Distance
A cold front is currently passing over southwestern South Africa, but its direct effects won’t reach Gauteng.
Still, its influence may be felt in the days to come.
Thobela explained that cooler mornings could be expected as the system moves across the country, although daytime temperatures will continue to feel pleasant and stable.
Perfect Weather for Outdoor Plans
With mild sunshine, little wind, and only a slight chance of rain in the east, most of Gauteng has a green light to enjoy outdoor activities.
Whether it’s a family outing, a jog, or simply soaking in some fresh air, the conditions are set to be in your favor.
