Ellie Goulding is embracing a new chapter in both her personal and professional life.
The singer, now expecting her second child with boyfriend Beau Minniear, is reportedly parting ways with her management team as she gears up for a major comeback.
Fans can expect a sixth studio album from the award-winning pop star, which she describes as deeply influenced by her past marriage to art dealer Caspar Jopling, the father of her eldest son, Arthur, four.
A Management Shake-Up Ahead of the Next Album
Ellie’s last album, Higher Than Heaven, dropped in 2023, and since then, she’s been quietly preparing her next project.
Sources say that she and her management company, TaP, decided to part ways late last year, marking a major career shift.
Ellie had been with TaP since 2018, joining a roster that includes other chart-topping acts like Dua Lipa and Lana Del Rey.
A source told The Sun: “As she moves into the new year with a strong sense of clarity, she is focused on family first with her second child due in just a few weeks.
She deserves to be treated like the global superstar that she is.”
Meanwhile, Daily Mail reported that TaP officially stepped away from managing Ellie on December 9th, with both parties acknowledging their eight-year collaboration had reached its natural conclusion.
The Personal Life Behind the Music
Ellie has been candid about the inspiration for her upcoming album.
Speaking to NYLON, she revealed: “It had always been the goal to start this album; I didn’t know it was going to be a divorce album, but that’s the way it started heading.”
Her marriage to Caspar Jopling, the Harvard-educated grandson of Conservative MP Baron Jopling, began in 2019 at York Minster.
Reflecting on the relationship, Ellie said, “When I married my ex-husband, I thought it was for life. That will never go away.
Some songs are necessary to acknowledge that time in my life and to be respectful of it, while others were more reactionary and sad—they were good to do in the moment but don’t serve me long-term.”
Channeling Heartbreak Into Creativity
The end of her marriage wasn’t just a personal upheaval—it also influenced her creative process.
Ellie recalled telling her producer about her separation on the very day they met: “I knew that my marriage wasn’t working out, it was dark times… the day I met Jack was the day I was like, ‘Jack, I should be candid with you.
Today, my husband and I decided we’re going to separate.’”
Despite the emotional weight of the lyrics, Ellie says Caspar has been supportive of the project, at least so far.
“My label, my friends—everyone’s behind it. And even my ex-husband loves the songs… well, he hasn’t heard all the songs,” she added.
A Public Love Story With Beau Minniear
Ellie has also been enjoying her romance with Beau Minniear, which went public in September 2025.
The couple recently vacationed in Italy, where Beau shared a tender snapshot of Ellie lounging in an unmade hotel bed.
He also appears in several intimate scenes in Ellie’s latest music video for Destiny.
Caspar Jopling’s New Chapter
Meanwhile, Caspar seems to be moving forward as well.
Olivia Wilde recently sparked romance rumors after posting a series of photos from the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
One image showed Wilde with a man whose face was deliberately cropped, later confirmed by Us Weekly to be Caspar.
The sighting came more than three years after Wilde’s split from Harry Styles and coincided with her promotion of the new erotic comedy-thriller I Want Your Sex, which premiered at the festival on January 23.
What’s Next for Ellie Goulding
With a new album on the horizon, a baby on the way, and a fresh management approach, Ellie Goulding is entering a pivotal period of her life.
Fans can expect an honest, emotionally charged collection of songs that reflect her journey through love, heartbreak, and renewal, all while balancing the excitement of expanding her family.
