Ticketmaster took to social media on Wednesday to explain how they’re handling a batch of tickets that had been previously canceled for violating purchase rules.
The company said they had worked with Grande’s team last October to cancel tickets that broke the platform’s terms.
Now, they’re reissuing those tickets directly to fans through a request process starting in February, prioritizing people who bought tickets fairly but were caught up in resale issues.
Grande herself shared the update on her Instagram Stories, thanking fans for their patience.
“Love you all so much and thank you for your patience… more information soon,” she wrote, keeping the tone personal and heartfelt.
Skipping Platinum Pricing to Keep Costs Down
Sources told People that Grande’s team had made a conscious choice to avoid “platinum and price scaling,” a system that adjusts ticket prices according to demand.
The goal was to prevent resale tickets from skyrocketing in price, which unfortunately doesn’t always stop scalpers but at least keeps the original tickets more accessible.

She acknowledged the unfairness of the situation and thanked her followers for their patience.
