The Crash That Claimed Two Lives
The fatal collision happened around 12:04 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of North Anaheim Boulevard and the SR-91 freeway, according to Anaheim police.
Investigators believe a Lexus sedan, driven by Daniel Ramos, ran a red light and slammed into the Toyota carrying Bianca and her boyfriend, Oscar, at high speed.
A Simple Craving, a Sudden Impact
Shortly before the crash, Bianca and Oscar had stopped at an In-N-Out Burger to satisfy one of her pregnancy cravings.
They were on their way back home, sharing laughs and smiles, when another vehicle appeared suddenly.
Oscar later recalled hearing Bianca scream just moments before impact, describing how everything happened in a blur.
Police Allegations and Arrest
Police say the driver of the Lexus showed clear signs of impairment at the scene.
Ramos, also 24 and from Riverside, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
He remains in custody at the Anaheim Detention Facility and has not yet been formally charged.
