Former President Bill Clinton sparks health concerns after being seen carrying a portable defibrillator with Hillary Clinton in the Hamptons

Former President Bill Clinton, 79, has reignited worries about his health after being seen traveling with a portable defibrillator alongside his wife, Hillary Clinton, in the Hamptons.

The couple was photographed carrying what appeared to be a Propaq MD Air Medical Bag, a lightweight transport monitor and defibrillator, as they prepared to board a flight on Thursday.

Clinton’s heart health has long been a topic of public concern.

The former president underwent a quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 after nearly 100 percent arterial blockage, and has experienced several other heart-related incidents over the years.

A Close Look at the Clintons’ Airport Appearance

At the airport, Bill Clinton wore a blue jacket paired with a tan hat and was escorted by his security team.

Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State, added a black sweatshirt over her blue two-piece set for the flight.

While Daily Mail reached out to Clinton’s office for comment, no immediate response was reported.

The sight of the defibrillator has fueled speculation about the former president’s current health status, particularly as he has visibly aged in recent years.

Previous Health Scares Highlight the Risks

Clinton’s health challenges are well-documented.

Last year, he was hospitalized on December 23 at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, for flu-related complications and underwent additional testing after developing a fever.

His former deputy chief of staff, Angel Urena, later confirmed that he had been discharged on Christmas Eve and remained in good spirits.

Earlier, in 2021, Clinton was hospitalized again due to a urological infection that spread to his bloodstream, adding to concerns about his well-being.

In 2010, he also underwent a stent procedure in New York after experiencing chest discomfort, following his 2004 quadruple heart bypass at the Vivian and Seymour Milstein Family Heart Center in Manhattan.

Recent Legal Spotlight: The Epstein Subpoenas

The Clintons have also been in the news for legal matters.

On August 5, they were subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee as part of a congressional investigation into the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

While neither Bill nor Hillary is under investigation, their depositions are expected to explore possible connections with Epstein and other high-profile figures.

Bill Clinton is scheduled to testify on October 14, with Hillary set for October 9.

It remains uncertain whether they will comply with the subpoenas.

Clinton Reflects on Past Associations

In his 2024 memoir, Bill Clinton admitted to traveling on Epstein’s private jet but denied knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities, expressing regret over having ever met him.

Clinton wrote that, despite the opportunity to support his foundation’s work, traveling on Epstein’s plane was “not worth the years of questioning afterward,” and he wished he had never met the financier.
