TGED Foundation teams up with ImpactHER to deliver fully funded digital and business skills training for women entrepreneurs across Africa

Running a business today comes with more challenges than ever before — from adapting to a digital economy to facing the realities of climate change.

That’s why a new initiative, Green Women Rising, is stepping up to support women across Africa with the tools, skills, and confidence they need to grow and succeed.

A Partnership for Women’s Empowerment

Green Women Rising is led by the Triple Green Environmental Development Foundation (TGED Foundation) in partnership with ImpactHER, a pan-African nonprofit working to close the gender financing gap in business.

Together, they are providing fully funded online training programs designed specifically for women entrepreneurs.

The goal is simple: to help women-led businesses strengthen their digital presence, refine their strategies, and prepare for investment opportunities — all while becoming more resilient in the face of climate and economic challenges.

What the Training Covers

This one-month program is more than just lessons.

It’s about equipping women with practical knowledge and tools that can make a real difference. Participants will learn how to:

  • Build a strong online presence that reaches new customers.

  • Develop effective business strategies for long-term growth.

  • Prepare to attract investors and secure funding.

  • Adapt to economic shifts and climate pressures with resilience.

Women already working in green, sustainable, or climate-smart businesses — such as agriculture, recycling, eco-products, and environmental services — are especially encouraged to apply, though the program is open to all women-led businesses across Africa.

What You’ll Gain

The benefits of Green Women Rising go beyond just training:

  • Fully funded virtual sessions delivered by ImpactHER experts.

  • Certificate of Completion (with 90% attendance required).

  • Potential future exposure to TGED Foundation’s women-led enterprise initiatives.

  • Networking and community with other African women entrepreneurs.

To be eligible, applicants should:

  • Identify as a woman living in any African country.

  • Own or aspire to start a business.

  • Have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet.

  • Commit to attending online sessions for the one-month duration.

Note: Training will be conducted in English only.
