The weekend brought a rare glimpse of the young royals enjoying a family moment.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were spotted riding with their parents, Prince William and Princess Catherine, on the way to a Sunday church service at Crathie Kirk in Balmoral.
The outing highlighted a mix of family tradition and casual elegance as the royals spent part of their Bank Holiday weekend together.
Coordinated Outfits and Car Conversations
The two princes, George, 12, and Louis, 7, were dressed in matching outfits, while Princess Charlotte, 10, looked charming in a white cardigan over a polka dot dress.
Inside the family Range Rover, George claimed the middle seat in the back, sandwiched between his parents, while Charlotte sat behind her father and Louis took the seat on the left.
During the ride, Charlotte was seen gazing curiously out the window, her neatly tied hair framing her thoughtful expression.
George appeared to be deep in conversation with Louis, who looked up at his older brother with wide eyes.
William and Catherine Lead the Way
Prince William, the Prince of Wales, was in the driver’s seat, steering the family toward Crathie Kirk.
Dressed in a smart suit and tie, he maintained his usual composed presence.
Princess Catherine, seated alongside him, beamed throughout the journey, her hair appearing a few shades lighter than usual.
Kate’s outfit exuded elegance: a black hat with a structured bow, a textured jacket, and a maroon top completed her ensemble.
Extended Family Joins the Service
Alongside the Wales family, King Charles and Queen Camilla, as well as Princess Anne, were also seen heading to Crathie Kirk.
The monarch, 76, wore a pale pink shirt under his suit with a tartan tie, a nod to the Scottish Highlands where the family is enjoying their summer holidays.
Queen Camilla, 78, looked stylish in a multicoloured print dress, complemented by a cream shawl and a hat adorned with a feather.
Princess Anne, 75, opted for a striking turquoise outfit, complete with a matching jacket and hat, standing out with her vibrant ensemble.
Going to church has been a longstanding tradition for King Charles, who also drove himself and Queen Camilla to a service at the same location earlier in the month.
Princess Charlotte’s Sporting Engagements
Princess Charlotte has had an eventful month filled with sports highlights.
Earlier, she attended the Lionesses’ dramatic Euros final in Basel, Switzerland, alongside her father, Prince William.
Wearing a chiffon polka dot dress from Guess—an outfit she also wore to Wimbledon last year—Charlotte observed the game with visible emotions and was awarded a winners medal at the presentation ceremony, which she treasured.
Afterward, the Princess signed off on her first official message from the Wales family’s social media account, congratulating the England team on their European Championship victory.
The post read: “What a game! Lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment England. W & Charlotte.”
Royal Appearances at Wimbledon
Earlier this month, Charlotte and her brother George also attended the men’s singles final at the All England Club.
Prince Louis, known for his cheeky antics during events, stayed at home on both occasions, letting his older siblings take center stage in the royal sporting moments.
