After a few years across the pond, Sophie Turner has made it clear: she’s never leaving the UK again.
The Game of Thrones star, 29, recently returned to London following her divorce from Joe Jonas, and she’s embracing life back in her home country with open arms.
Finding Wellness in Familiar Surroundings
Speaking to Flaunt Magazine, Sophie revealed just how much the move has impacted her wellbeing.
“I just feel so at home here. I never want to move again,” she said.
Living in the States made her realise the true importance of friends and family.
“I didn’t appreciate how much you need friends and family and how integral they are to your wellness until you’re away from them,” she added.
Returning home with her daughters, Willa, four, and Delphine, three, Sophie says she has a renewed appreciation for her loved ones and the comfort of familiar surroundings.
Joe Jonas Reflects on Love After Divorce
Meanwhile, Joe Jonas, 36, has been speaking candidly about navigating life and love post-divorce.
During a TalkShopLive stream, he shared that the most intimidating part of the split was learning how to date again.
“I was seeing somebody at the time and I was kind of having this idea of dating again. It was really scary and intimidating,” he admitted.
He also touched on how these experiences inspired his song Only Love from his album Music For People Who Believe In Love.
“Love takes different shapes and forms, and I was rediscovering what that was,” Jonas explained.
A Relationship That Began in 2016
Sophie and Joe’s love story started in 2016, with the couple marrying three years later in 2019.
Their divorce was finalised in September 2024, after a period of custody discussions over their two daughters.
At one point, Sophie even filed a child abduction claim against Joe, though she later requested it be dismissed in January 2024.
Life Feeling on Pause
Reflecting on the end of her marriage, Sophie previously told Harper’s Bazaar: “We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard.”
She also described her move back to England as a chance to hit ‘play’ again.
“I’m so happy to be back,” she said, explaining that being away had made her feel like her life was temporarily on hold.
