A leading biotech executive has lost his job after his wife’s shocking anti-Semitic comments about their neighbor went viral online.
The incident also included cruel remarks about the tragic death of the neighbor’s daughter, who had served in Israel’s border police.
Mark Bouzyk, co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer at AllaiHealth, was dismissed by his company after video footage of the incident circulated widely on social media.
The Viral Video That Shook the Community
Last month, Anna Bouzyk was filmed shouting at her neighbor, David Lubin, hurling offensive slurs and targeting his late daughter.
She called him a “k**e” and a “corrupt Israeli,” claiming that his murdered daughter deserved her fate.
Sgt. Elisheva “Rose” Lubin, 20, an American immigrant who had moved to Israel in 2021, was fatally stabbed by a 16-year-old terrorist while patrolling Jerusalem’s Old City with fellow officers in November 2023.
David Lubin had been placing stickers around his neighborhood in Dunwoody, Georgia, honoring Rose’s memory when Anna began her verbal assault.
Video footage shows Mark Bouzyk standing by, occasionally joining in as his wife ranted.
No Regrets from the Aggressor
Anna later admitted to using the anti-Semitic slur and told news outlets she had “no regrets,” insisting she would repeat the words “a million times again.”
Her husband’s company, AllaiHealth, an AI-driven medical history platform, swiftly condemned the behavior.
CEO Robert Boisjoli called the actions “reprehensible” and terminated Mark Bouzyk’s employment, emphasizing that such conduct has “no place in our organization or society.”
Bouzyk’s Background and Career
Mark Bouzyk is no stranger to the biotech world.
Before AllaiHealth, he co-founded Akesogen and served as Chief Scientific Officer.
That company was acquired by Tempus, an AI-focused biotech firm, in 2019.
He holds a PhD in human molecular genetics from the University of Hertfordshire and an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from University College London.
Details about the couple’s move to the U.S. remain unclear, but Mark has had a long-standing career in genetics and biotechnology.
Tensions Between Neighbors
Tensions between the Bouzyks and the Lubins reportedly began last year when the couple allegedly displayed a sign with a derogatory word about Jews.
David Lubin said he respected their right to display signs but was deeply disturbed by his wife’s verbal attacks when he honored his daughter with stickers around the neighborhood.
The confrontation escalated when Anna accused David of being a corrupt politician with a daughter in the Israeli military.
In the viral video, she claimed Rose’s death was justified because she “was fighting” for Israel.
David responded by condemning Anna’s words as “disgusting,” calling attention to the cruelty and insensitivity of her remarks.
Anna’s Perspective
In a phone interview, Anna admitted to calling David the slur but framed her actions as a response to provocation, claiming he had branded her a “Jew hater” and was filming her while confronting her.
She insisted her anger was justified, citing concerns about the stickers being placed on public property.
David Lubin’s Life and Work
David Lubin, originally from Tennessee, now lives in Dunwoody, Georgia, with his second wife Stephanie and their children.
He is running for Georgia state senate on a platform focused on gun violence prevention, education, infrastructure, and women’s reproductive rights.
In addition to his political work, he operates a commercial construction company specializing in municipal community projects.
He described filming the incident as a way to expose the hate he felt was displayed in his neighborhood.
