Rochelle Humes Addresses Relationship With Frankie Bridge and Dismisses Feud Rumours During Hunger Magazine Interview in London

Rochelle Humes recently opened up about her relationship with fellow The Saturdays bandmate Frankie Bridge, addressing long-running rumours of a feud.

Despite gossip swirling in the media, Rochelle was quick to assure fans that there’s no bad blood between them.

The rumours first ignited last year after Frankie posted a cryptic TikTok hinting at tension, shortly after the pair were reportedly seen avoiding each other at Wimbledon.

Both women, now 36, have known each other since childhood, rising to fame in S Club Juniors before joining Una Healy, Vanessa White, and Mollie King in The Saturdays.

Clearing the Air: No Feud Between The Saturdays Members

In a recent interview with Hunger magazine, Rochelle, rocking a new blonde pixie cut wig, dismissed any speculation about a falling out.

She emphasized that respect has always been at the core of their relationship.

She said, “We’ve always had such respect for each other.”

Speaking about the reasons behind The Saturdays’ hiatus, Rochelle added, “Everyone wanted that drama for us.

They couldn’t understand the idea that five girls could actually get on.

But no, we didn’t split! Don’t get me wrong, we had disagreements, but we were like sisters.”

Life Beyond the Band: Exploring Individual Paths

Rochelle explained that their break wasn’t about conflict but opportunity.

“We were all interested in doing our own thing for a bit, and excited to see what could run alongside our music careers,” she said.

She even joked about potentially owing the record label another album someday.

During the interview, Rochelle also celebrated being the cover star of Hunger’s January edition, showing off her blonde pixie wig in a range of stylish and sophisticated outfits.

She spoke candidly about her resilience in the industry: “I think I’ve probably got the thickest skin in the world… Being young, I always heard the negatives, but it made me want to master my craft.”

From S Club Juniors to The Saturdays

Before forming The Saturdays in 2007, Rochelle and Frankie had already shared a journey in S Club Juniors, releasing six top 10 singles together.

After the group disbanded, Rochelle ventured into television presenting while Frankie pursued a solo singing career.

Their paths crossed again during auditions for a new girl group that became The Saturdays.

Initially, both were hesitant about joining another girl band.

Frankie was wary of repeating the past, and Rochelle admitted, “Putting five girls together sounds like a recipe for disaster.

You hear horror stories of girl bands hating each other.”

Yet their shared respect turned their professional relationship into a sister-like bond.

The Saturdays’ Rise and Milestones

The group gained momentum touring with Girls Aloud and released 13 top 10 singles.

In 2014, they celebrated with a Greatest Hits tour and the album Finest Selection: The Greatest Hits. While some saw it as a sign of a final farewell, Frankie was quick to clarify it was just a milestone.

In the following years, members occasionally mentioned plans for new music, but these never fully materialized.

Vanessa, for instance, focused on her solo career, telling Hunger, “There’s no space mentally for me to go back.”

Meanwhile, Una became the self-proclaimed motivator for reunions, though Frankie admitted, “Never say never… but I’d feel a bit old and a bit silly.”

Candid Thoughts on Reunions

Rochelle herself acknowledged the challenge of getting the group together.

“It’s hard to get the five of us in a room for dinner… We were better when one person ran the diary.

Everyone’s got their own stuff or the kids – never say never, but I highly doubt it anytime soon.”

Although they’ve occasionally reunited for personal events, like Mollie’s birthday in 2017, scheduling conflicts have kept a full reunion at bay.

Even at Wimbledon, where they were all present, interactions were minimal, with an onlooker noting that Frankie and Rochelle “sat on opposite sides of the suite and kept to themselves.”

Social Media Sparks and Misunderstandings

Despite reassurances from their representatives that no feud exists, cryptic posts from both stars have fueled speculation.

Frankie’s TikTok read, “You’re so quiet… Thanks, you said something five years ago and I’ve just realised you’re actually dead to me.”

Meanwhile, Rochelle posted an inspirational quote about growth and figuring things out, paired with a song by Teddy Swims.

While fans may read into these messages, both women insist their bond remains intact, even if busy schedules and life commitments keep them from spending as much time together as they’d like.
