Tom Brady shares playful father-son golf outing photos showing Jack towering over NFL legend in New York

Even seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady isn’t immune to a little playful ribbing — especially when it comes from his own family.

The NFL legend recently shared a heartwarming golf outing with his eldest son, Jack, at The Hills resort in East Quogue, New York.

While the father-son bonding was sweet, it was Jack, 17, stealing the spotlight — and towering over his dad — that had social media buzzing.

A photo posted to Brady’s Instagram showed the teenager standing beside his 6-foot-4 father, sparking an outpouring of good-natured jokes.

Friends and Fans Jump in on the Fun

Brady’s former Buccaneers teammate, Mike Evans, couldn’t resist teasing: “Is Jack standing on something? Besides business lol.”

Rob Gronkowski added, “Jack is way more beastly than you.”

Even Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin joined the banter, joking, “Except I heard Jack kicked your ass yesterday!!”

Fans were equally amused, flooding the comments with disbelief and playful admiration.

One wrote, “How is Jack taller than Tom??!” while another quipped, “Jack just got an offer from every Power 5 school with that height and jawline combo.”

A Look at Brady’s Growing Family

Jack, who turns 18 on August 22, is Brady’s son with ex Bridget Moynahan.

The football star also shares two younger children — Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12 — with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.

Brady’s family life has drawn attention in recent months, especially after his split from Bündchen in October 2022, following 13 years of marriage and his dramatic decision to un-retire from football.

Reports suggested that Bündchen’s frustrations over Brady’s focus on football at the expense of family life contributed to their split.

Brady Reflects on Parenting and Career

In his recent newsletter to fans, Brady, 47, offered insight into his approach to fatherhood, framing his dedication to football as part of being a good dad.

“I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family,” he wrote. “I chose to do it by playing football.”

He went on to explain that his hours of practice and focus on the game were lessons for his children — teaching them commitment, teamwork, and the value of hard work.

“My dedication to the sport, the moments when I was laser-focused — those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids, by prioritizing my profession and teaching, by example, what it takes to be really good at your job, what it takes to follow through on commitments, what it takes to be a great teammate; and showing them, also by example, that work is a big part of all of our lives.”

Balancing Stardom and Fatherhood

Even as Brady faces teasing from friends and fans alike, the underlying message is clear: he’s committed to his children and sees his career as a model for discipline and dedication.

And judging by Jack’s growth — literally towering over his father — it seems the lessons are sinking in, both on and off the golf course.
