Helen Flanagan reunites joyfully with her children in England after Christmas spent apart from their father Scott Sinclair

Helen Flanagan celebrated the New Year in style as she reunited with her three children after they spent Christmas with their father, Scott Sinclair.

The former soap star shared heartwarming snaps on Instagram, showing her cosying up to Matilda, 10, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, four, as they rang in 2026 together.

The festive season had been a tricky one for Helen.

While Scott enjoyed time with the kids, she stayed away and faced the added stress of a car crash, leaving her both emotionally and physically drained.

Glamorous New Year’s Eve Moments

On New Year’s Eve, Helen stunned in a strapless black dress, looking radiant as she posed with her children at a chic party.

She captioned the photos with heartfelt words:

“New Year’s Eve with my babies mummy loves you so much Matilda, Delilah and Charlie xxx.”

It was a stark contrast to the tension with her ex, as only weeks earlier, she had branded Scott on social media as “a piece of s**t” following missed commitments during the holiday period, including Charlie’s nativity performance.

Life Behind the Glamour

The morning after her glamorous night out, Helen was spotted looking entirely different.

Bare-faced and bundled in a striking pink shearling coat, she clutched papers and dragged a suitcase, giving fans a glimpse of the real-life pressures behind the social media glitz.

Meanwhile, Scott shared his own Christmas moments with their children, posting a sweet family photo from a forest outing with the caption: “Peace and happiness.”

The trio also enjoyed ice skating, keeping the festive spirit alive.

Praising Family Support

Helen also used her platform to celebrate her mother, Julia, who has been a huge support while Helen worked in a Liverpool pantomime.

Sharing a photo of her mum cuddling Charlie, she wrote:

“So grateful for my incredible mum who has looked after my children for really the past two months while I’ve been working… The BEST grandma ever, so lucky to have you mum.

All the school runs, all the activities, all the school work, all the washing. Love you.”

This heartfelt tribute came amid ongoing tensions with Scott, highlighting the complex family dynamics behind the headlines.

Honest Reflections on Mental Health

Helen has been open about feeling “deflated” and struggling with mum guilt, especially while managing her ADHD.

On New Year’s Eve, she shared a candid moment with fans, admitting:

“If I am being honest I just feel so deflated in mood today… I think my ADHD is so in overdrive and I feel like the older I get I actually realise the more severe my ADHD is.”

She reflected on the pressure she puts on herself, saying the constant need to “have her sh*t together” often leaves her feeling worse about herself.

Balancing Work and Motherhood

The star recently wrapped up her role as the Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Liverpool.

While she enjoyed performing and the social side of theatre, she admitted that returning to daily life afterwards was challenging.

“I just have constant mum guilt because I haven’t really seen the kids for two months and then when I did see them I was really tired,” she explained.

Balancing her career with her role as a mother has been a struggle, made even harder by the ongoing feud with her ex.

End-of-Year Setbacks

To make matters worse, Helen ended 2025 with a minor car crash.

She reassured fans it wasn’t serious but admitted it added stress to an already busy period.

“Also I crashed my car yesterday, it was fine, it could have been a lot worse, but I crashed my car so it is just hassle.

I wanted to go to Scotland and stuff but I can’t because I crashed into another car, totally my fault.”

Managing ADHD Without Medication

Helen has been cautious about returning to ADHD medication, following a “bad reaction” in 2023.

She explained that while the right medication could help her focus, fear holds her back:

“I am trying to learn my lines for my new play but my head is so busy with my ADHD that I am finding it hard to concentrate.

If I had the right medication it would probably be really good for me but I literally can’t and I am too scared to.”

Despite the challenges, Helen continues to prioritize her family, work, and wellbeing, sharing an honest glimpse into her life with fans.

Looking Ahead

As Helen welcomes 2026, she appears determined to balance motherhood, career, and mental health, even amid setbacks and family tension.

Her posts reveal a star who is glamorous yet grounded, celebrating small joys while navigating very real struggles.
