Tottenham’s transfer window is heating up — and this time, it’s Brazil to London on the negotiation trail.

The agents representing Manchester City winger Savinho are already on their way to Europe, determined to secure the move their client wants.

Frederico Moraes from ProManager flew out of Brazil on Thursday, with talks expected to continue next week.

Spurs are ready to make a serious play for the 21-year-old, who only joined City from Girona a year ago.

For Savinho, the motivation is clear — he wants to be a Premier League regular, not stuck on the bench, especially in a season that ends with a World Cup.

City’s Price Tag and Tottenham’s Ambition

At the Etihad, Pep Guardiola is actively reshaping his squad, trimming numbers to refresh the team.

But City are holding firm on Savinho’s value, with reports from Brazil suggesting a hefty £67 million asking price.

Tottenham aren’t stopping at Savinho, though. They’re also chasing Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, who would command a similar fee. Discussions with Palace are moving forward, but no final agreement has been reached yet.

Competition for Eze but Spurs Still Leading

While Arsenal have shown interest in Eze, the 27-year-old England international currently looks more likely to join Spurs.

And here’s the twist — manager Thomas Frank isn’t treating this as an either-or decision. He wants both players.

The reasoning is simple: Savinho and Eze bring completely different skills, and both could play important but separate roles in the squad.

With James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski sidelined for the long term, creativity is in short supply — something that was painfully clear in the Super Cup, where Spurs’ only goals came from set pieces.

Lessons From a Collapsed Deal

Frank will still tread carefully, remembering how close they came to signing Morgan Gibbs-White before the deal collapsed at the last minute.

Still, Tottenham’s recent display against Paris Saint-Germain could be the kind of performance that convinces top targets they’re joining a team on the rise.

Signs of a Team on the Rise

In the Super Cup, Spurs raced to a 2-0 lead over PSG before late goals dragged the match to penalties, where they eventually lost.

The scoreline aside, the performance sent a message: Tottenham are looking sharp ahead of the Premier League opener.

New signing Joao Paulinha, on loan from Bayern Munich, made his debut against PSG and left impressed.

“It is the beginning of a journey together,” he said. “Tottenham is a great club. It has all the conditions to achieve good things.

“It showed in the past and for sure it will show again in the future. We have a top coach and a top human being.

We just need to keep our heads up, keep fighting — the journey is long, but we’re motivated. I think the future will bring us something special.”
