Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews sell their Battersea apartment and buy a forever family home in London after years of renovations and memories

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews are turning a major page in their family life.

After years in their beloved Battersea apartment, the couple has finally sold their London flat and invested in what they call their ‘forever’ home.

For fans who have followed their journey, this marks the end of one era and the start of an exciting new adventure.

Saying Goodbye to Their First Home

In the latest episode of her YouTube vlog, Vogue opened up about selling the couple’s £4.25million apartment, the first place they lived together.

“We sold our apartment. It’s gone. End of an era,” she told viewers, adding that moving out is bittersweet.

The couple has rented a nearby house temporarily so their three children—Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three—can continue at their current school while renovations take place.

Vogue reflected on the memories made in their Battersea home.

“All our kids were born here. It’s going to be weird saying goodbye,” she said.

Despite the nostalgia, she emphasized the excitement for their new house.

“This is our forever house. I know people say that, but it actually is.

It’s like my dream home here in London, just like the one I have in Ireland.”

A Dream Home in the Making

The couple officially purchased their new period property in June, and Vogue shared that she has been slowly overseeing renovations ever since.

Her degree in quantity surveying is proving invaluable as she balances design dreams with practical budgeting.

“I walked in and couldn’t hide from the estate agents that I had no intention of not owning this house,” she laughed.

While Spencer has ideas that might push their budget, Vogue is taking the lead.

“I do know how much things cost, and some of the things he wants just aren’t realistic for our budget.

We’re making adjustments, but it will still be our dream house.”

Exploring the Features of the New Home

In her vlog, Vogue gave fans a glimpse of the home’s original charm, including fireplaces, decorative cornicing, and ceiling roses.

The large garden is another highlight, though she admitted much of the shrubbery will be cleared to create a spacious lawn where the kids can play freely.

A Long Road to Selling the Battersea Apartment

Selling their Battersea flat wasn’t simple.

The couple first listed it two years ago for £5.25million, eventually lowering the price by £1million to secure a sale.

Vogue and Spencer purchased the apartment early in their relationship, after just six months of dating, and undertook extensive renovations to accommodate their growing family.

Vogue previously explained the move was necessary: “Our apartment is great, but the kids can’t be downstairs on their own. It just doesn’t work for our family at that age. We needed more space.”

Balancing Life Between London and Dublin

Though the couple now has a London family home, they also own a house in Howth, Dublin, purchased in late 2023.

Their work commitments, however, keep them spending a lot of time in London, making the new house all the more essential for their family life.

With the sale finalized and renovations underway, Vogue and Spencer are setting the stage for the next chapter of their lives—and fans can’t wait to see the transformation of their dream home.
