Footballer Andy Carroll has reportedly ended his relationship with make-up artist Lou Teasdale after a series of fiery arguments, sources claim.
The split comes just two months after the former Premier League striker, 36, was questioned twice by Greek police during a turbulent holiday in Mykonos with Lou, 41.
The couple, who had been together for just over a year, have now unfollowed each other on social media, with Andy erasing all traces of Lou from his Instagram.
Tensions Fueled by Lifestyle Clashes
A source told The Sun: “Andy got sick of Lou’s demands and her influencer lifestyle.
She’s always posting on social media and he hates that.
He told her it was over this week. He’s single now.”
The father-of-five recently returned to the UK to play for Dagenham & Redbridge after a two-year stint in France.
“It’s been a tough time, and now he’s back in the UK, he just wants to focus on football and his kids.
He hates the influencer lifestyle. He has no interest in posing for loved-up pics,” the insider added.
Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for both Andy and Lou for comment.
Last Public Appearance Together
The couple’s final public outing was at an Oasis gig at the end of July, where they appeared very affectionate.
This date night followed reports of two separate incidents on their Mykonos holiday, which saw the ex-footballer being questioned by police.
Mykonos Holiday Drama
According to reports, Carroll had a heated confrontation with Lou at a restaurant and later at their hotel.
A staff member at Nikolus Tavern described Andy as “very drunk and furious with his partner” and said he used “very bad words,” leaving Lou visibly upset.
Police were called and spoke to Carroll outside the restaurant.
“He was allowed to return, and the couple left after paying for their meal.
Andy was very calm when the police arrived,” a restaurant worker said.
Hours later, hotel staff called police again after reports of property damage.
Carroll, who was once Britain’s most expensive footballer, was taken to the police station for questioning but was not arrested.
A hotel employee claimed Carroll had broken a door, prompting Lou to spend the night elsewhere at Soho Roc House.
Couple’s Joint Statement
In a statement to The Sun, the couple insisted the incidents were blown out of proportion:
“Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion.
It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there.
We went outside with them as they insisted on looking after us. No one was arrested or charged.
We are very happy, in love, and looking forward to our future together, and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.”
Andy’s History of Turbulent Relationships
Andy and Lou began dating last year following his separation from TOWIE star Billi Mucklow.
Their two-year marriage ended after a turbulent period, which included a near-cancelled wedding in 2022 due to Carroll being pictured intoxicated with two women during his Dubai stag do.
Despite the drama, the couple initially remained amicable for the sake of their three children—Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae—while Billi also helps raise Andy’s two older children, Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14, from a previous relationship.
