Lara Trump Reveals the Joys and Challenges of Giving Meaningful Gifts to Donald Trump During Holiday Season in Florida

As the holiday season approaches, the Trump family is gearing up to celebrate Christmas with familiar traditions, even for the man who has the world watching—Donald Trump.

While buying gifts for the former president might seem intimidating, the family has found a thoughtful way to make it personal.

A Gift That Never Fails

Lara Trump, married to Donald’s youngest son Eric, shared with the New York Post that the president always receives one special present each year: framed family photos.

“Every year he gets basically framed photos of us with him. But he likes them.

A lot of them go on the desk behind him in the Oval Office,” Lara explained.

She added that Donald already knows what to expect, saying, “This is the standard for him for Christmas and his birthday.”

Even though the gift is simple, Lara admitted that finding something meaningful for the president remains a challenge.

“He’s giving so much to us as a country, we want to give something great back. For all of us, it’s always, ‘What do we get him?’”

Sweet Treats for the Grandchildren

When it comes to spoiling the younger generation, Lara noted that the task mostly falls to First Lady Melania.

One cherished tradition involves the grandchildren sneaking into their grandfather’s office to grab candy from his stash—a treat-filled corner that often includes Starburst, fun-size Snickers, M&Ms, and sometimes even king-size candy bars.

The Mar-a-Lago office, often called the “winter White House,” is stocked with these goodies year-round, delighting the little ones whenever they visit.

Family Gatherings and Festive Celebrations

This Christmas, the Trump clan is expected to reunite in full force.

Most of the extended family plans to attend Christmas Eve mass at Bethesda-by-the-Sea, the same Episcopal church where Donald and Melania tied the knot.

Lara described the growing number of children and grandchildren around the holiday table as a “welcome and festive sight.”

The celebrations at Mar-a-Lago aren’t limited to family alone.

Lara estimated that roughly 500 club members could join in the festivities, with celebrity guests likely to make appearances, continuing a long-standing holiday tradition.

A Patriotic Holiday Touch at Home

Lara and Eric, married at Mar-a-Lago in 2014 and now living nearby in Jupiter, Florida, embrace the holiday season with a uniquely Trump-style Christmas tree.

Their tree blends sentimental handmade ornaments from their children with official White House ornaments gifted during Donald’s first term.

Adding a personal flair, the tree is topped with not one, but two MAGA hats, blending family memories with a patriotic nod.

It’s a festive setup that perfectly captures the Trump family’s holiday spirit.
