Kaizer Chiefs are in the middle of a major squad shake-up, and the exits aren’t over yet.

With several big names already gone, two more players are now on the chopping block — and together, they’re worth more than R13 million.

Two Stars Likely to Leave Naturena

The latest reports suggest that Edson Castillo and Fiacre Ntwari are no longer part of head coach Nasreddine Nabi’s plans for the season.

Management is preparing to part ways with them, either permanently or temporarily.

For Castillo, the motivation is clear — freeing up a foreign player slot.

According to iDiskiTimes, Nabi is open to letting him go, giving the club more flexibility to sign fresh foreign talent in their quest to strengthen the squad.

Goalkeeper Ntwari Set for a Move

As for Ntwari, the situation is slightly different.

He has fallen down the pecking order under Nabi, and Chiefs are deciding whether to loan him out or release him entirely.

KickOff reports that a loan move is currently the more likely outcome, but either way, it looks like his time at Naturena is coming to a pause — if not an end.

The Numbers Behind the Departures

Financially, these potential exits are no small matter.

Ntwari’s market value sits at over R7 million, while Castillo is valued at more than R6 million, according to Transfermarkt. Combined, that’s over R13 million worth of talent likely leaving the squad.

A New-Look Chiefs Under Construction

This is all part of a wider transformation at Amakhosi. The team now has a new captain, fresh faces in the technical area, and 10 new players already confirmed — six signings plus four promotions from within.

Three more signings from PSL rivals are reportedly close to completion.

However, for every arrival, there’s usually a departure.

And with more deals on the horizon, the list of players leaving Naturena is expected to grow.

The Big Question for Fans

With both Castillo and Ntwari seemingly on their way out, the question remains — should Chiefs sell them outright or send them out on loan? Either way, their departure will free up space for the club’s next wave of reinforcements.
