Just when it seemed things couldn’t get more tense between Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers, the drama took an unexpected turn.

Despite a restraining order in place, Richards was spotted showing up at Phypers’ home in Calabasas — and what happened next turned heads and drew in the police.

This all unfolded just days after she was granted legal protection against him, painting a picture of a divorce spiraling deeper into chaos.

The Restraining Order and What Sparked It

Richards, 54, and Phypers, 52, had their split made public just last month.

On July 16, Richards filed for — and was granted — a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband.

In her filing, she accused him of years of physical and emotional abuse — serious allegations that Phypers has denied from the start.

The restraining order required Phypers to keep at least 100 yards away from Richards, including her homes, cars, and places of work.

Denise Shows Up at His House — and Police Arrive

But on Sunday, in a twist that surprised many, Richards was seen pulling up to Phypers’ house — reportedly to retrieve a dog.

According to TMZ, she arrived unannounced, began banging on the back door, and demanded to be let inside.

Phypers reportedly saw her from a distance and immediately left the property, likely trying to avoid violating the restraining order.

His parents, however, were home — and they let Richards in.

What happened next was nothing short of explosive.

According to reports, Richards stormed in, demanded the dog, and got into a heated confrontation with Phypers’ family.

She allegedly screamed at his parents to “get out of the house,” pointing fingers in their faces, and reportedly swung at his brother Brett and even threw mail at him.

Police Question Richards But Say No Crime Was Committed

Photos show Richards being questioned by three Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies outside the home.

But despite the dramatic series of events, police concluded that no crime had been committed, and no arrests were made.

Meanwhile, Phypers was seen consoling his mother, who was said to be terrified and shaken up after the unexpected visit.

Denise’s Legal Team Says She Didn’t Break the Rules

Richards’ attorney, Brett Berman, quickly issued a statement to clarify her side of the story.

According to him, Richards didn’t violate the restraining order, because Phypers was not present at the house during the visit.

Berman also claimed Richards went to retrieve her dogs because she had recently discovered something deeply upsetting: that Phypers had allegedly put down one of her other dogs without telling her.

It’s worth noting that under California law, a protected person can contact the restrained person without facing legal consequences.

However, the restrained person can still use that contact to challenge the order later in court.

The Divorce Battle Keeps Escalating

Things between Richards and Phypers have been growing more bitter since he filed for divorce on July 7.

Just a week later, Richards countered with the restraining order and an extensive list of alleged abuse.

Phypers has denied all of it — and a source close to him even suggested that Richards’ black eye, which was speculated to be the result of abuse, was actually caused by a drunken fall.

Now, everyone is waiting for the upcoming court hearing in August, when a judge will decide whether the restraining order will be extended or lifted.

In the meantime, Phypers is legally banned from seeing Richards or their 14-year-old adopted daughter, Eloise — a separation he says has been emotionally painful.

New Allegations Surface About an Alleged Affair

As if that weren’t enough, Phypers recently made fresh allegations — this time accusing Richards of having an affair with Rudy Reyes, a 53-year-old former special forces soldier.

In a letter reportedly sent to “family and close friends,” Phypers claimed Reyes had been sending Richards explicit videos and photos, including a graphic video of himself that he described in detail.

Phypers says he discovered the affair in April, and while Richards promised to end it, he allegedly caught her again a month later at a Hilton Garden Inn in Burbank.

This, according to him, led to a blow-up argument over the July 4th weekend, during which Richards allegedly smashed his phone.

Financial Tensions Boil Over Too

It’s not just the emotional side of their divorce that’s messy — money is playing a big role too.

Phypers claims he’s been unemployed since October 2024, when he shut down his Malibu wellness business, Q360 Club.

In his divorce petition, he alleges that Richards, in contrast, earns a massive $250,000 a month through OnlyFans, TV appearances, and brand deals.

Now he’s asking for spousal support and wants to split their production company, Smoke & Mirrors Entertainment, right down the middle.

According to his filing, he says his monthly expenses are around $105,000.

What Happens Next?

With both parties throwing around serious accusations — abuse, affairs, financial disputes, and family conflicts — this divorce has become far more than just a legal separation. It’s turning into a public soap opera.

All eyes are now on that upcoming court hearing.

Will the judge extend the restraining order? Will the alleged affair or the dog dispute factor into any final decisions?

Either way, it’s clear that Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers’ story is far from over.
