FG approves Nigerian citizenship for 286 foreigners Out of 600 applicants

Out of 600 applicants, the Federal Executive Council has approved Nigerian citizenship for 286 foreigners.
Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of the Interior, made the announcement after President Muhammadu Buhari presided over a council meeting on Wednesday, February 9.
According to Aregbesola, 208 people have had their citizenship approved through naturalization, while 78 people have had their citizenship approved through registration.
It was also disclosed that the applicants from every part of the world including Europeans, Americans, North and South Australians, etc. were thoroughly scrutinized by agencies such as the department of states services, foreign affairs, Nigeria’s immigration service, and the state of domicile of the foreign individuals.
