The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has begun selling supplementary admission forms for the 2021/2022 academic session into the Central Bank of Nigeria Collaborative Postgraduate Program (CBN-CPP) Master of Science Degree Programs in Accounting, Banking & Finance, and Economics and Master of Business Administration.
Interested applicants are asked to apply for the Central Bank of Nigeria Collaborative Postgraduate Program (CBN-CPP). The Central Bank of Nigeria’s flagship involvement in tertiary education, the CBN-CPP, provides quality postgraduate education with little disruptions. The Central Bank of Nigeria Centre for Economics and Finance, which is now located on the University of Nigeria Enugu campus, houses one of its Centers. Master of Science in Accounting/Accountancy (Forensic Accounting and Auditing or Financial Accounting and Reporting), Banking and Finance (Financial Innovation & Technology or Credit & Treasury Management), Economics (Monetary Economics, Development Economics, or Financial Economics & Markets), and Master of Business Administration with specializations in Credit and Risk Management, Taxation, Finance, and Business Analytics are among the programs available.
The program includes unique features that expose students to self-employment abilities and free training on a minimum of ten software, including SAGE Accounting Cloud, Quick books, SPSS, STATA, MATLAB, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Professional Power Point methods, Referencing software , and E-views.
ELIGIBILITY: The CBN-CPP is open to anybody interested in pursuing long-term academic and professional careers in related fields in the corporate and public sectors. The program is designed for I applicants from relevant public sector organizations; (ii) applicants affiliated with, or sponsored by, private institutions or organizations as part of their staff development programs; and (iii) self-supported applicants.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested students must have completed the obligatory NYSC program and have a least of Second-Class Honours (Upper Division) Bachelor’s Degree in related subjects.
DURATION AND STUDY MODE: Each program will last a maximum of four (4) semesters and will be entirely full time. Teaching/course work, research (dissertation), oral/written examinations, and case studies will all be part of it.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduation criteria will be decided by the University Senate, subject to meeting the National Universities Commission’s minimal academic requirements (NUC).
METHOD OF APPLICATION: Interested candidates should apply online at www.cbn-cenef.com, which includes a link to the UNN postgraduate school’s portal at https://www.spgs.unn.edu.ng, after paying the university’s non-refundable application fee.
TUITION FEES: The tuition fees are N600,000.00 for Master of Science degree program and N1,000,000.00 for Master of Business Administration per program. The fees are payable either in full once or at most in two installments of N 400,000.00 and N 600,000.00 respectively once in the first year, and the balance of N 200,000.00 and N 400,000.00 once in the second year.
