Muvhango’s Gugu will stab her fiancé – Azwindini and will get released from the mental institution when Susan (Maumela Mahuma), Vutshilo and Kgosi realise that Nomasonto and Rosemary (Gugu Mzobe) stole her life.

She will stab him before finding out she’s not pregnant with Azwindini’s baby.

GUGU STABS AZWINDINI

The Muvhango TVSA May teasers reveal that Gugu will act out of character after she gets released from the asylum and stabs Azwindini.

The Tuesday 10 May teaser reads:

“Susan, Vhutshilo, and Kgosi execute the plan to break Gugu out of the Asylum.”

The trio will get Gugu (Bukamina Fanele Cebekhulu) released from the mental institution to stop Azwindini from walking down the aisle with her twin sister – Nomansonto.

The Monday 23 May teaser reads:

“Azwindini is stabbed by Gugu.”

It is unclear from the teasers why Gugu would stab Azwindini (Gabriel Temudzani) as she’s not as evil as her twin sister – Nomasonto who killed the soapie’s favourite character – Vho-Mukondeleli (Elsie Rasalanavho) this month.

The May teasers also state that the royal family’s Maine (Mulumisi) will deliver some devastating news after Azwindini gets stabbed.

It is unclear if Azwindini will make it out alive as the show has hidden the teasers for the last three days of May.

‘MUVHANGO’ FANS: ‘CANCEL NOMASONTO AND ROSEMARY

 Viewers of the long-running SABC2 soapie want writers to scrap Gugu’s doppelganger (Nomasonto) and her lesbian lover  (Rosemary) from the soapie.

A viewer tweeted:

“I stopped watching Muvhango because of Gugu and her twin-sister.”

It looks like Gugu won’t be back to her old self because of the trauma she faced and the medication she was fed at the asylum.

@Nesengani9:

“This is boring. To promote fake Gugu or Sonto is not Muvhango the way I see.”

“Those two ladies are supposed to play in Uzalo.”
