Fact Checked by TDPel News Desk

Following a fall in subscribers for the first time in 10 years, Netflix has hinted it will crack down on password sharing.

This comes after 200,000 subscribers left the streaming service in the first quarter of the year as a result of intense rival competition and subsequent hikes in prices in some countries.

According to the streaming giant, more than 100 million households are sharing passwords. However, it has also decided to introduce ads supported plans for subscribers.
