Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina’s baby boy died during childbirth

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez announced that one of their twins had passed away. Page Six reports that the baby passed away during childbirth.

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” said the pair.

“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for their expert care and support, we are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time,” they continued.

“Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you,” they added.

Georgina announced that she was pregnant with twins in October 2021. The pair later announced that their unborn babies were a boy and a girl.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez are also parents to daughter Alana (4). The soccer star is also adad to son Cristiano Jr. (11), and twins Mateo and Eva (4) via surrogacy.

Ronaldo previously revealed that he fell for Georgina in a “split second” as seen in a promo video for her Netflix show.

“I am 27 and five years ago my life changed,” said Georgina in the promo video.

“It was a split-second moment,” said Ronaldo.

“I never thought it would be that big as to fall in love with her, I really didn’t expect it. Georgina is the woman I am totally in love with,” he continued.
