EDUCATION DISTRICT SEEKS IMPROVED ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AMONG STUDENTS – Lagos State Government

…Rewards Outstanding Students at Y2022 Honours Day
The Lagos State Education District 1 has inducted some of the students, who won laurels for their schools and the State Government, into its prestigious Students Diplomatic Corps as Dean, Ambassadors and Delegates.

The induction was held at Government Senior College, Agege, where last year’s student participants in both academic competitions and co-curricular activities were celebrated, rewarded and presented with cash gifts and plaques.

The Tutor-General /Permanent Secretary of the District, Mrs. Titilayo Solarin, who addressed teachers, Principals, students, parents and education stakeholders at the event, explained that the recognition was intended to be a morale booster to encourage the outstanding students to put more effort into future competitions in which the District would participate.
