As Kaizer Chiefs continue to rebuild and strengthen their squad for the upcoming season, it looks like another name has popped up on their radar — and this time, it’s a familiar face in South African football.

Dženan Zajmovic, the Bosnian striker who impressed last season with TS Galaxy, might be making a return to the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

Zajmovic Still Open to a PSL Comeback

Although he’s been without a club since parting ways with TS Galaxy, the 30-year-old has made it clear he’s not done with South African football just yet.

Speaking to KickOff, Zajmovic revealed that he’s already received calls from two PSL clubs, though he didn’t drop any names.

“Two clubs have already contacted me from the PSL.

South Africa is a nice country with a good league, and I would love to continue playing there at a new club,” he told the publication.

It’s no secret that Zajmovic enjoyed his time in the PSL, and he seems eager for another shot — despite interest from North African teams as well.

Kaizer Chiefs Reportedly Watching Closely

According to Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs are seriously considering Zajmovic as an option to bolster their frontline.

While he wasn’t initially on their shortlist, sources say things changed once TS Galaxy released him.

A source close to the club shared some behind-the-scenes insight:

“He wasn’t on the original list, but after TS Galaxy let him go, the Chiefs’ scouts and analysts started monitoring him.

Everything is looking good, and there’s a strong belief that talks are already happening. A move is very possible.”

Chiefs Not Done Yet in the Transfer Market

Kaizer Chiefs have already made moves in the transfer window, including the recent signing of Portuguese forward Flavio Silva.

But it seems the club is still hedging its bets. If Silva doesn’t live up to expectations, the technical team clearly wants a backup plan ready — and Zajmovic could be just that.

How Many Strikers Will Be Enough?

The big question now is how many strikers Chiefs actually need.

With Silva on board and now possibly Zajmovic in the mix, are they building depth — or just playing it safe?

Let us know what you think. Should Kaizer Chiefs go all-in for Zajmovic? Is this the right kind of move to get them firing again?
