Paris Hilton has opened up about past reports claiming Ghislaine Maxwell tried to recruit her for Jeffrey Epstein.
According to sources, Maxwell allegedly spotted Hilton at a party when she was just 19 and thought the young heiress would be “perfect” for Epstein. Despite these claims, Hilton, now 44 and a mother of two, insists she has no memory of ever meeting Maxwell.
In a recent Sunday Times magazine interview, Hilton reflected on the story, suggesting her name may have been caught up in the headlines simply because it grabs attention.
“I’m such a good clickbait name,” she said.
How the Claims Emerged
The story originated in 2020 from Christopher Mason, a former friend of Maxwell.
Mason recounted seeing Maxwell react excitedly when she spotted Hilton at a New York party, allegedly saying she wanted to be introduced to Epstein.
Mason shared the anecdote in a docuseries called Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, which also showed a 2000 photograph of Hilton, Maxwell, and Donald Trump at a fashion show in New York.
At that time, Hilton was just stepping into the modeling world, signing with Trump’s T Management agency and beginning her rise to fame.
Mason described Maxwell as actively scouting young women in New York to meet Epstein, adding that the behavior at the time seemed “a bit naughty,” though the gravity of Epstein’s crimes was not fully public then.
Epstein, Trump, and the Newly Released Files
The wider Epstein saga continues to reverberate in U.S. politics.
Over 20,000 pages of documents from Epstein’s estate have been released, revealing private correspondence and repeated mentions of Donald Trump between 2011 and 2019.
In one email, Epstein wrote to Maxwell referencing Trump in connection to a victim identified as Virginia Giuffre.
Other messages suggest Epstein discussed Trump’s awareness of events in his home.
While Trump has long maintained he cut ties with Epstein in 2004, the documents have reignited scrutiny of past associations.
Trump’s Political U-Turn on Epstein Files
The release of the documents has also created tension within the Republican Party.
Trump publicly clashed with Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican congresswoman who pushed for the files to be made public.
Trump previously dismissed the calls for transparency as a “Democrat Hoax,” and labeled Greene a “traitor.”
Greene responded that the president’s comments endangered her and caused personal threats.
However, in a sudden reversal, Trump later encouraged House Republicans to vote in favor of releasing the Epstein files, stating, “we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax.”
Where Paris Hilton Fits into the Narrative
Despite the attention on Maxwell’s alleged intentions toward her, Hilton continues to distance herself from the claims.
She reiterates that she does not recall meeting Maxwell and seems to view the story more as an unfortunate headline than a personal connection.
As the Epstein documents continue to emerge and political debate unfolds in the U.S., Hilton’s name remains linked to the narrative largely because of the public fascination with high-profile figures and the sensational history surrounding Epstein and Maxwell.
This version maintains all the key facts — Hilton’s comments, Maxwell’s alleged intentions, the Trump connection, document releases, and political fallout — while reading like a human-written, flowing news feature.
