It’s not every day that your best friend becomes your stepmother—and definitely not because of love.

For Ira Saligan, what unfolded in his personal life was something out of a messy drama.

His own father had been having an affair with someone Ira knew all too well—his best friend, neighbor, and classmate, Blur Plerry, also known as Micaella Blazo.

What made it worse? She was just 17 when it all began.

From Best Friends to Bitter Enemies

Ira took to social media recently to vent his frustration, and honestly, who could blame him? In an emotional and unapologetically raw post, he called out Blur Plerry for betraying both his trust and his family.

According to Ira, not only was she a close friend, but she was also like family—they grew up side by side, hung out together, went to places like Digos and Watsons, and shared moments like regular teens.

But behind the scenes, something far more painful was happening: she was secretly seeing his father.

A Mother’s Tears and a Son’s Rage

Ira didn’t hold back when describing the pain his mother went through—many nights of no sleep, crying, and constant arguments with his dad. All while his “friend” was involved.

“You weren’t just any girl,” he wrote in frustration, “you were our neighbor, someone I trusted.

My mom cried herself to sleep while you played happy with my dad.”

To add insult to injury, there were denials all around. Blur Plerry reportedly denied everything, even went so far as to call the local barangay authorities when rumors started circulating.

Ira’s family was made to pay 5,000 pesos as a penalty for supposedly spreading false rumors.

But eventually, the truth came out.

Agreements Ignored and Boundaries Crossed

Even after the affair was discovered and a barangay agreement was made that they’d stay away from each other, Ira said Blur continued seeing his father.

Allegedly, she even moved into the same boarding house in Digos—where Ira’s father also stayed.

The betrayal didn’t stop there. According to Ira, Blur once said nice things about his parents, even complimenting how kind and respectful they were.

But in hindsight, Ira believes those were just words covering up her intentions.

A Family Torn Apart

Ira admits that his father carries much of the blame, but he also says Blur should have known better.

“You could’ve stayed away,” he said, “especially knowing my father was already married.”

Instead, she made choices that, in his view, deliberately broke apart a family.

Social Media Eruption and Public Outcry

His viral Facebook post, written in a mix of rage and heartbreak, triggered a wave of reactions online.

Many sympathized with him, while others were shocked at how young Blur was when the relationship reportedly began.

What’s even more frustrating to Ira is the way the entire situation was hidden behind lies, denials, and name changes.

“You even kept changing your name,” he wrote. “Like it would make it all go away?”

When Trust Becomes Trauma

This wasn’t just about a cheating scandal. For Ira, it was about trust—deep, childhood trust—being ripped apart.

The betrayal didn’t come from a stranger. It came from someone who had been by his side for years.

“You broke our family,” he wrote. “And you’re acting like it’s all okay.”

A Message for the Public

Through the emotional weight of his words, Ira’s message is clear: betrayals hurt more when they come from the people you once laughed with, shared meals with, and trusted with your secrets.

He closed his post with a mix of exhaustion and heartbreak, acknowledging that while his dad made a terrible choice, the person who should’ve never crossed that line was the girl who once called his mother kind and his father good.
