Glasgow was already sizzling under a 30°C heatwave, but things got even hotter when indie-rock duo Wet Leg hit the stage at TRNSMT Festival on Friday.

It wasn’t just the temperature that had fans talking—it was frontwoman Rhian Teasdale, strutting out in a white bikini top and matching hot pants, owning the stage with confidence, attitude, and some seriously impressive biceps.

Rhian Steals the Spotlight in Festival-Fueled Fashion

With her flowing pink hair and toned physique, Rhian gave a performance that was equal parts fierce and fun.

She flexed her arms while belting out fan-favorite tracks like Wet Dream and Chaise Longue, hyping up the crowd alongside bandmate and longtime best friend Hester Chambers, 30.

The 33-year-old singer clearly relished every moment on stage, soaking in the sea of festival-goers at Glasgow Green.

Sharing the Stage with Big Names

Wet Leg was part of Friday’s star-packed lineup that included The Script, Irish rap trio Kneecap, and headliner 50 Cent, who brought serious throwback energy to the Scottish crowd.

With thousands in attendance, TRNSMT once again proved why it’s the biggest weekend in Scotland’s music calendar.

A Big Day for Wet Leg Fans

Their TRNSMT performance couldn’t have come at a better time.

Wet Leg dropped their brand-new album Moisturizer that very same day, featuring 12 fresh tracks.

Fans have been buzzing, not just about the music but about the band’s whirlwind summer of performances across Europe’s top festivals.

Returning to Glastonbury with Nerves—and New Songs

Earlier this month, Wet Leg made their much-anticipated second appearance at Glastonbury, this time on the Other Stage, after first performing on the Park Stage back in 2022.

In a recent interview with The Irish News, Rhian opened up about the nerves that came with returning to Worthy Farm.

“We were just so anxious and excited for it to go down well and for people to actually turn up, it was crazy,” she admitted.

“When we did Park Stage, that was such a big moment. It felt like, ‘How are we going to top that?’ But it turned out really good.”

Fans Are Already Singing Along

Despite the pressure, the Glasto set was a success—especially with fans already singing along to new material from Moisturizer.

Rhian said the response was “very well received,” which gave the band a much-needed confidence boost ahead of more big summer shows.

Pandemic Fame, Grammy Wins, and Star-Studded Support

Wet Leg’s rise to fame is one of the music industry’s recent pandemic-era success stories.

Bursting onto the scene in 2022 with their debut album Chaise Longue, the band quickly went viral and earned two Grammy Awards, solidifying their place in the indie-rock landscape.

They’ve also picked up some pretty famous fans along the way.

In fact, Rhian revealed that none other than Davina McCall is a fan of their music—just one of many celebrities tuning into their catchy, offbeat style.

Glasgow Comes Alive for TRNSMT Weekend

This year’s TRNSMT Festival has drawn thousands to Glasgow Green, with a lineup that reads like a dream for indie, rock, and pop fans alike.

Alongside Friday’s performers, Saturday will see Biffy Clyro headline, with support from Fontaines D.C., Jake Bugg, and The Kooks.

On Sunday, fans can expect a stunning festival finale as Snow Patrol closes out the weekend alongside Gracie Abrams, bringing three days of music, sunshine, and unforgettable moments to a close.
