The Liverpool women’s squad faced more challenges this weekend when star forward Mia Enderby was rushed to hospital after a frightening incident during their clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
Fans and teammates alike watched in alarm as Enderby went down in the closing stages of the match at Brisbane Road, home of Leyton Orient.

With just ten minutes remaining, Enderby went up for a header and appeared to land awkwardly on her neck.
She remained motionless on the turf for around 15 minutes before being carefully stretchered off and taken by ambulance for further medical evaluation.
Liverpool manager Gareth Taylor shared his concern after the match.
“It’s obviously not nice to see her stretchered off. I haven’t had the chance to speak to Mia yet,” he said.
“At one point, I thought she might get back up and continue playing, but with injuries like this, you have to be extremely cautious. The priority is her safety.”
