Comedian Lucy Beaumont has broken her silence following her dramatic elimination from Celebrity Traitors, revealing she hasn’t been watching the show since her on-screen “murder.”
The 42-year-old star was left reeling after being voted out by fellow contestants Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, and Cat Burns in a tense late-night scene filmed outside Ardross Castle.
Lucy, who played as one of the “Faithfuls,” didn’t hold back her feelings in a video shared online.
With a mix of humour and disbelief, she called out her co-stars, playfully branding Alan and Cat as “b******s” after discovering they had plotted against her.
Lucy Says She’s Just as Curious as Fans
Speaking to her followers, Lucy admitted she hadn’t kept up with the episodes since filming wrapped, joking that she now has to tune in to see how things unfold after her departure.
“If you’ve been watching Traitors tonight, then you’ll know I’ve gone,” she told fans.
“They murdered me. B******s. But now I’m going to start watching the show.
There are two episodes left, and I need to know what happens — I don’t even know myself!”
Despite her frustration at being eliminated, Lucy praised the production team behind the popular BBC One show, calling them “amazing” and “the hardest working crew” she’s ever met.
“There were about 300 people working on it, and everyone was so lovely.
I can’t believe I was even on it — it’s changed my mindset,” she added.
Emotions Run High After the ‘Murder’ Scene
The tense elimination left Lucy visibly emotional, especially after learning that her friend Cat Burns had turned against her.
As she confronted the trio who orchestrated her exit, she exclaimed, “Oh my God. I hope you feel terrible about yourselves!”
Addressing Cat directly, she said: “I’m not happy with you at all. You’ve played this really, really well.”
When Cat attempted to apologise, Lucy shot back: “That’s not good enough.”
Reflecting later in front of the camera, Lucy admitted she was “shocked and betrayed,” but also “relieved” to finally know who the Traitors were.
“I can’t believe it was Cat,” she said. “I let my emotions cloud things. I didn’t want to believe that someone I’d built a friendship with could do that.”
Fans React with Shock and Support
Viewers were equally taken aback by Lucy’s elimination, flooding social media with messages expressing their disappointment.
Many said they were “heartbroken” to see her go and praised her warmth and humour throughout the series.
Her fallout with Cat marks yet another friendship turned sour in this season of Celebrity Traitors.
Earlier in the series, Alan Carr revealed he’d also clashed with singer Paloma Faith after “murdering” her in a previous episode.
Alan Carr Defends His Actions and Clears the Air
Alan, who has faced some backlash for his in-game betrayals, opened up about the situation on his Life’s A Beach podcast with DJ Norman Cook, also known as Fatboy Slim.
He admitted that Paloma was furious about being the first person eliminated.
“She said, ‘If you were a real friend, you wouldn’t have killed me,’” Alan revealed.
“But I said, ‘It’s The Traitors! That’s the point of the show!’”
He joked that the moment was “just part of the game,” comparing it to going on Naked Attraction and being surprised you have to undress.
Despite the tension, Alan insisted he plans to make peace with Paloma, saying: “I’m going to take her for dinner.
I love her. But no one wants to be murdered first on a show — I panicked.”
What’s Next for Celebrity Traitors?
With Lucy’s shocking exit and friendships fractured along the way, the final episodes of Celebrity Traitors promise even more drama and emotional confrontations.
Lucy, for her part, says she’s ready to watch how it all ends. “The story doesn’t end now,” she teased. “The best is yet to come.”
The Celebrity Traitors finale airs next Thursday at 9 p.m. on BBC One and iPlayer — and fans can expect fireworks as the Faithfuls and Traitors face their ultimate showdown.
