Kai Trump, granddaughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is proving that her passion for golf hasn’t faded one bit.
The 18-year-old influencer, who has built a massive following on YouTube with over 1.3 million subscribers, returned to her golfing roots in a new video that’s already gaining traction online.
In her latest upload earlier this month, Kai teamed up with her close friend Allan Kournikova — yes, the younger half-brother of tennis star Anna Kournikova — for a playful but ambitious golf challenge.
The YouTube Golf Challenge That Tested Their Skills
Taking inspiration from pro golfer Bryson DeChambeau’s viral “Break 50” series, Kai and Allan set out to shoot under 30 over nine holes at their home course in Palm Beach.
The two clearly had fun with it, but despite their efforts, they narrowly missed their goal — finishing with a solid 31, five-under-par for the round.
When it became clear the target might be a stretch, the pair jokingly adjusted the challenge mid-round to “Shoot 30” instead.
Still, even that proved elusive. But judging by their laughter and easy camaraderie, it was more about the fun than the final score.
A Friendship Beyond the Fairway
Kai and Allan’s friendship appears to go beyond golf.
The young golfer attended President Trump’s inauguration in January, sharing photos from the ball alongside Kai.
He’s even served as her caddie on several occasions, revealing during the video that they’ve spent plenty of time perfecting her game together.
Their chemistry and shared love for the sport made the YouTube collaboration feel effortless — the kind of wholesome, lighthearted content that Kai’s growing audience clearly enjoys.
Allan Kournikova’s Remarkable Sports Journey
Allan’s name may ring a bell thanks to his famous family ties, but he’s carved his own impressive path in the sports world.
Following in his sister Anna’s athletic footsteps, he picked up a golf club at just 18 months old and began competing at five.
By the time he was 10, he’d already collected over 200 trophies.
His prodigious talent even caught Netflix’s attention.
Allan starred in The Short Game, a 2013 documentary following some of the best seven-year-old golfers in the world as they competed at the Junior Golf World Championships in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
That exposure landed him on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he and other young golfers challenged Fallon and his co-hosts to a playful chipping contest.
Family Ties to Tennis Royalty
Anna Kournikova, Allan’s half-sister, became one of tennis’s most recognizable faces in the early 2000s.
Turning pro at just 14, she quickly climbed the ranks to reach world No. 8, though she never captured a Grand Slam singles title.
Her greatest success came in doubles alongside Martina Hingis, with whom she won two Australian Open titles in 1999 and 2002.
Unfortunately, recurring injuries — including stress fractures in her back and feet — cut her career short at just 21.
Off the court, Anna became a global icon. She modeled for major brands, graced countless magazine covers, and was named the “World’s Sexiest Woman” in 2002, topping stars like Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez.
Now, Anna lives a quieter life with Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias, with whom she’s expecting their fourth child.
A Lighthearted Moment Amidst Famous Names
Kai Trump’s golf video was more than a fun challenge — it was a glimpse into a next-generation friendship bridging presidential and athletic legacies.
While they may have missed their target score, the easy rapport between the two young stars showed that for them, success isn’t measured in strokes under par — but in good company and a shared love for the game.
