Washington D.C. isn’t just the seat of power—it’s also a city full of whispered secrets.
Former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson opened up on his podcast about some of the stranger stories circulating among those in government.
Over the years, he’s heard plenty about the personal lives of politicians, but recently, he says, things have gotten noticeably “weirder.”
“It’s not just sleeping with your scheduler,” Carlson remarked. “It’s something beyond that now.”
Carlson Talks Rumors With Representative Burchett
On a recent episode of The Tucker Carlson Show, Carlson sat down with Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett to discuss the sexual scandals creeping through Congress.
Both men admitted that while they themselves hadn’t participated in any of these activities, the rumors were increasingly hard to ignore.
“I never heard of anyone participating in an orgy in Washington, D.C., in my entire life,” Carlson said, “and I’ve heard a lot about it recently.”
The podcaster acknowledged that some of the whispers might actually be grounded in truth.
Scandals From Both Sides of the Aisle
Over the past five years, both Republicans and Democrats have been caught up in increasingly audacious sexual scandals.
Some incidents involved staffers recording themselves during intimate moments inside government buildings, while others involved high-profile campaigners engaging in threesomes.
One notable case was Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a former staffer in D.C., who was fired in 2023 after a sex tape filmed in a congressional hearing room surfaced.
After leaving his position under Maryland Senator Ben Cardin, he moved to Sydney and launched an OnlyFans account.
Florida Politicians and Public Scandals
Florida politics has seen its fair share of controversy. Last year, a Republican party chairman and his wife were exposed for participating in threesomes within their marriage, causing a major stir.
Christian Ziegler lost his chairmanship after a participant accused him of sexual assault, though his wife Bridget maintained her school board position amid the scandal.
Earlier this year, another Florida Republican state senator faced sexual harassment accusations and was revealed to follow nearly 100 OnlyFans, dating, and gambling accounts.
Joe Grutters, a former state party chairman, was investigated for sexual assault allegations from a staffer, but those accusations were eventually dismissed.
Matt Gaetz and the Wider Picture
The infamous Matt Gaetz prostitution scandal in 2024 gave the public a glimpse of the “weird” personal lives Carlson referred to.
Burchett also mentioned a purported Chinese prostitution ring that had infiltrated Capitol circles, which was supposedly investigated but never fully reported.
“Who was their client list?” Burchett asked. “High-ranking officials in government, elected officials, and lobbyists.”
The Underbelly of Capitol Life
While neither Carlson nor Burchett claim to have participated in these activities themselves, both emphasized that the growing whispers shouldn’t be ignored.
According to the pair, these stories reflect a hidden, seedy underbelly of Washington D.C., one that remains largely invisible to the public eye but shapes the culture inside the halls of power.
