Paloma Faith isn’t one to hold back, especially when it comes to discussing her personal life.
During a candid appearance on Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast last year, the 44-year-old singer shared what really excites her in the bedroom—and what completely turns her off.
Having split from her ex-husband Leyman Lahcine in 2022 after nine years together and raising two daughters, Paloma didn’t shy away from being brutally honest about her intimate preferences.
Foreplay Matters More Than You Think
When Jamie asked what turns her on, Paloma emphasized the importance of foreplay—but not in the way many might expect. She explained:
“Foreplay isn’t just about physical touches—it’s about how you talk to each other, how you treat each other throughout the day. It’s the little things that matter.”
Her frank description left Jamie laughing and speechless, though he couldn’t resist giving her a high-five for her honesty.
Over-Confidence is a Dealbreaker
The conversation then turned to turn-offs, and Paloma didn’t hold back.
She revealed that over-confident behavior during intimacy is a major no-no for her.
“When someone says, ‘You like that, don’t you?’ it’s just… f**k off! I’ll let you know. It’s so over-confident,” she confessed.
Jamie, keeping the mood light, shared his own pet peeve: “Mine’s no talking, lights off, completely dark.”
Paloma’s Dramatic Exit on Celebrity Traitors
Fast forward to Paloma’s recent appearance on BBC’s Celebrity Traitors, where her candid persona was on full display in a very different setting—this time as a contestant navigating deception and betrayal.
On Thursday night, viewers witnessed a shocking twist as Paloma became the first celebrity eliminated from the show.
Her friend and fellow contestant Alan Carr, secretly assigned the role of a Traitor, made the decisive move.
Alan, along with co-Traitors Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns, were tasked with “poisoning” a fellow celebrity using the black lily pollen at Ardross Castle.
The Traitor Twist
The setup was both bizarre and tense.
Alan, standing alone in the kitchen, casually touched Paloma’s face while pretending to remove a hair, triggering her elimination.
Though she survived the night, she was dramatically placed in a coffin and carried away as part of the game.
Paloma’s reactions to discovering who the Traitors were were priceless.
She didn’t hold back in her spinoff show Uncloaked, calling Jonathan Ross a “p****” and expressing shock at Cat Burns’ actions.
Learning Alan had betrayed her, she added: “These are three of my favourite people. I hope they never call me again… Bang out of order. I feel more betrayed now.”
Finding Humor After the Betrayal
Even after her dramatic exit, Paloma proved she could laugh at the chaos.
On TikTok, she shared a hilarious montage of herself screaming and running every time she sees flowers, joking: “What seeing flowers feels like after the Traitors. I used to really like lilies actually.”
Alan also poked fun at the situation, joking about “murdering a Paloma” while out for drinks, though Paloma playfully shot back in the comments: “Mine’s too salty.”

Thursday’s episode left fans on the edge of their seats, anticipating who will be the first celebrity banished from the Scottish castle.
