Not every child in Nigeria has the luxury of owning a laptop or tablet.

But what if someone could turn unused gadgets into learning tools for young minds?

That’s exactly what Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, is setting out to do with the launch of the Bosun Tijani Foundation – The Reuse Lab.

This initiative is all about giving a second life to old digital devices—like laptops and tablets—and placing them directly in the hands of those who need them most.

And it’s kicking off with something really impactful.

Refurbished Laptops for Secondary School Students

As part of its pilot phase, The Reuse Lab will be distributing 70 refurbished laptops to secondary school students across Nigeria.

The aim is simple but powerful: bridge the digital gap for young people with big dreams but limited access to technology.

In Dr. Tijani’s words, this is not just about tech access.

It’s about supporting education, fostering creativity, and even playing a part in environmental sustainability by reducing e-waste.
